Director Mysskin’s judgment about the hero of Yudham Sei has been questioned several times. Since the role is that of a police officer, many have questioned Mysskin on why he chose Cheran to essay that role. To this, the director replied that in reality not all policemen have a six-pack, so it does not matter if his lead star does not possess one. Mysskin reiterated that Cheran is the apt choice for the role.
Yet another news about Yudham Sei is that Ippadiku Rose-fame Rose, who was a transgender, has bagged a very meaty role in the film. Rose was recently in the news for undergoing the sex reassignment surgery.
